The weather is cooling. Tom says it's because of the sunspot cycle. The sun has been unusually quiet these last several months, and will continue into the next several years. Is this god's trick to fool us into believing that global warming does not exist?
I sit down to write today for the first time in weeks. I have avoided the computer, neither reading nor writing. It can easily lure me into its world...the siren song of the digital ocean. I open up my email and glance at the 234 unread messages. Are any of them from real people, or are they all just calls to arms or advertising? Are they just ploys for money making political schemes? I find it hard to see the cries for action that I know to be valid ones, but they swallow me up in their urgency. There are so many worthy causes out there...causes I believe in, but when I answer the call, I just get more calls!!! It's never enough.
